A declined contract records the time and the reason instead.
Good to know
What the record does not do yet
- The event log is stored with each contract but is not yet viewable or exportable in the app; the Contracts list shows status and the signer's name
- There is no document hash or certificate proving the text is unchanged
- Signers type their name; drawn signatures and multiple signers are not supported
- A contract can be deleted by its owner, which removes its record

Electronic records and signatures are recognised under Nigerian law, including the Evidence Act 2011. Some documents, such as wills, need particular formalities, so check anything unusual. For high-value or regulated agreements, take your own legal advice.
