Accessibility

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use ereQa, including people who use a screen reader, magnification, voice control or a keyboard instead of a mouse. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had an independent audit, so we don't claim full conformance.

What we do today

  • Text on the public site is at least 12px, with body text at 16px, and colours are chosen to meet WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Buttons, links and form fields can be reached and used with a keyboard, and show a visible focus outline.
  • Animations switch off when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Pages work at phone width and when zoomed to 200%, without sideways scrolling.
  • Help tips on the pricing table open on tap and keyboard focus, not only on hover.

What still needs work

  • The product illustrations on marketing pages use small example text. They are pictures of the app, not content you need to read, but we are making them easier to read.
  • Some PDFs created by the app (invoices, reports) may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
  • The logged-in app has not been reviewed as thoroughly as the public site yet.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on ereQa is hard to use, or you need an invoice, report or document in another format, email support@ereqa.com with the page address and what happened. We read every message and will reply with a fix or a workaround.
