Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ereQa ('the Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. The Service is provided by ereQa Inc. ('we', 'us', 'our').

2. Description of Service

ereQa provides AI-powered financial management tools including invoicing, expense tracking, bank statement analysis, reporting, and payment reminders. The Service is available via web browser and mobile applications.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Business accounts must be registered by an authorised representative.

4. Free and Paid Plans

The Free plan includes limited features as described on our pricing page, including 5 invoices and 25 expenses a month and 50 contacts; bank statement uploads and AI reports are paid-plan features. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you upload to ereQa. We process your data solely to provide the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display your data as necessary to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you upload.

6. AI Processing

Our AI features (bank statement analysis, transaction categorisation) provide suggestions and insights based on automated processing. These are not financial advice. You should verify AI-generated categorisations and consult a qualified accountant for financial decisions.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not: use the Service for illegal purposes, upload malicious files, attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, share account credentials, use automated tools to scrape or access the Service, or resell access to the Service without written permission.

8. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are charged in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within 14 days of first payment if the Service does not meet your reasonable expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

ereQa is provided 'as is'. We are not liable for financial losses resulting from use of the Service, including but not limited to: incorrect AI categorisations, missed payment reminders, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days. After 30 days, all account data will be permanently deleted.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, under the rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration.
